It's kind of like explaining what makes really good espresso so fantastic to someone who has never had coffee. Or maybe like relating the experience of eating a Twinkie to someone from another country. Okay, it's not really like either of those things. Truffles are quite simply one of the greatest food sensations ever. As one would expect, with that information in hand, that they are pricey - and one would be correct. Occasionally selling for more than $4,000 per pound, these delicate fungi are like nothing else. Why else would we devote an entire menu to them every year? Join us Saturday, January 9 at 6:00 p.m. for a six course Truffle Extravaganza. Seating is extremely limited. Cost is $100 per person plus tax & gratuity. Bon Appetit!
