Is there a recipe or recommended wine for Foie Gras Mousse?

Greetings Blue Talon People!

I visited your website but was dismayed to learn that you don't share the recipe for the Foie Gras Mousse that my wife and I had just before Christmas. Is this a super secret recipe or would you be willing to tell me how it was made? We have a small group that gets together for dinners and I would be the hit with a rich, indulgent starter like that. By the way, is there a particular wine I should serve with Foie Gras Mousse?

Greetings to you Bob!

Unfortunately, the lack of a recipe on our website is only a reflection on our efforts and our ability to get that recipe re-calibrated for home use, written up and then uploaded into our super-cool online recipe book. We don't have any super secret recipes at this point (but I am not completely sure that Scott will share the Blue Talon Steak Sauce recipe, so you might be on to something). I have emailed you the recipe directly and I promise that we will get it uploaded as soon as we can, hopefully by the time this letter is posted online!

As for the wine, Adam says if you are looking to completely blow away your dinner group, look for a really good Alsatian Gewurztraminer or Riesling and they might never recover from the experience.
