2010 Annual Truffle Dinner

9 January 2010 - Wow!  What a great evening was had by all!  Seven courses - some great wines, great food, tons of truffles.  Throw in a little Foie Gras and you have a recipe for a real live good time.  Here's the menu that everyone enjoyed, and check out the photos from the dinner!

7 January 2010 - There's nothing we like better than hearing from you. We love it when you pick up the phone and give us a call - a reservation, a wine questions, cooking tip - whatever. But we know that sometimes you need to put your mind at ease about a reservation for an upcoming date and you can't reach us. It could be that we are stuck on the telephone and you get our voicemail, or you might be trying to reach us after regular hours. Either way, we have taken steps to help you out. Starting today, you can book your tables at BlueTalonBistro.com Naturally, the online system has limitations and you might not find the table you need, but it should be a big convenience nonetheless. If you have any trouble finding or booking any reservation, please remember to call and talk to a real live hostess who can help you - old school!

Our Holiday Lineup for 2009!

24 December 2009 -  We love the holidays and we are going to make every effort to be here for you over the next few weeks to help you celebrate during what ever time off you can arranges.  Here's a brief look at our Holiday Schedule for the next couple weeks:

• Christmas Eve: Open for Breakfast & Lunch - close at 2:00
• Christmas Day: Closed
• Sat, Dec 26 - Sat, Jan 2: Regular Hours
• Sun, Jan 3: Breakfast & Brunch only - close at 2:00
• Mon, Jan 4 - Wed, Jan 6: closed for light repairs

Get Your Holiday Groove On!

6 December 2009 -  If you haven't been in Williamsburg or attended the Grand Illumination celebration, you can't imagine what you are missing!  The entire Colonial area is full of holiday well-wishers, traditional holiday decorations, holiday fireworks...  Are you getting the picture?  It's a holiday bonanza!

We're not saying that parking is easy, but if you get down here, you can still book a table with us - though times are filling up fast.

Turkey Trot Approaches Fast!

26 November 2009 -  The Blue Talon Turkey Trot 2009 is almost upon us!  We already have over 300 people registered to run in what is quickly becoming the most significant charity event of the day - which is saying alot, as "the day" in question is Thanskgiving Day!  The event takes place right here behind The Bistro, with a raffle featuring great food, wine and other prizes - all of which goes to help support Meals on Wheels.

If we can convince you to come, please don't forget to bring in a used coat that we can donate to Coats for Kids.  We would love to collect over 1,000 coats in one day!
